Rated People is actively looking for a talented Vetting & Quality Associate to join our Vetting & Quality Team and bolster our portfolio growth. The role will report directly to the Vetting & Quality Team Lead and will offer a unique exposure to our core business areas collaborating closely with internal players (Sales, Account Management, Legal teams and Top Management) and interface with our customers and partners.

As a Vetting & Quality Associate you will assess tradespeople’s applications to the Rated People service and minimise the degree of risk posed by allowing them on to the platform. You will continuously monitor the standards of the tradespeople using our service to reduce the potential for fraudulent activity. You will also be responsible for ensuring tradespeople meet our high standards, making sure they understand the code of conduct and effectively flagging and removing tradespeople from the platform when they fall short of the expected standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Resolve tradespeoples onboarding queries on a day to day basis.
  • Pre-screen tradespeople’s websites to verify that they are genuine and compliant.
  • Review application packages and ensure that they contain all relevant documents.
  • Ensure that existing tradespeople are compliant with regards to all business rules and regulations
  • Resolving complaints and disputes between homeowners and tradespeople.
  • Maintain a very thorough and organised Masterfile for all documentation we have for our Merchants, while ensuring full compliance with our processes and regulations.
  • Present pragmatic solutions when presenting cases and proposals
  • Maintain positive relationship and open communication with all company departments and partners in the sales workflow process.
  • Help identify process gaps and work with the team to improve them.


  • Good analytical skills - ability to analyse complex data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate or advanced mastery of Microsoft excel
  • Readiness to work with busy schedules and tight deadlines
  • Tech-Savvy with a passion for technology
  • Ability to approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Fluent in English
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Understanding of AML, Due Diligence and Risk Management is a plus
  • Open, humble, friendly person who is proactive and keen to develop
  • Experience in SalesForce is a plus Experience with credit rating and/or fraud prevention agencies is a plus
