Data is the nucleus of Rated People’s operation and is the key to the fundamental business decisions we make daily. To drive the company forward, we’re looking for a talented analyst to join our data analytics team. You’ll be asking questions and driving insight across the entire organisation, solving problems that range from customer acquisition and conversion on both sides of our marketplace to performance advertising efficiency. Analytics is a centralised, cross functional team that regularly collaborates with all areas of the business, including product / engineering, finance, marketing and our executive team to drive decision-making at Rated People. The team provides real time data dashboard support, leads ambitious projects and develops key strategic frameworks and predictive models to help us provide our customers with the best experience from Rated People.


We like inquisitive, innovative, data driven, practical and committed people. Along with these traits, you will also have 3+ years commercial experience delivering complex insights in a data analytics role. Communicating simple insights from distributed complex data sets to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As someone who wants to deliver a quality experience, with real value to our customers, you are keen on the frequent delivery of high-quality/integrity insights to all areas of the business. We’re looking for someone who will push for best practice and continuous improvement at all times. You will be eager to keep up with new technologies and continually updating your technical knowledge and skills.

You can demonstrate the following core competencies:

  • 3+ Years in a data analysis role
  • Advanced SQL (ideally pgSQL)
  • Hands on experience of designing and implementing data warehousing solutions (preferably MySQL/PostgreSQL/Redshift)
  • Experience of creating data visualisation dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, Superset, Data studio etc)
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; extremely attentive to detail
  • Experience of ETL tools (OWL/SSIS/Talend)
  • Google Analytics/Tag Manager expertise (Ideally Google certified)
  • Strong Excel skills

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience of big data/machine learning
  • AWS
  • Python/Java
